Ffrancis Barber bill of sale to Vincent Runyon March 20th 1671
This indenture is made the twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord 1671, in the 23rd year
of the Reign of our sovereign
lord Charles the Second by the grace of God of England,
&
other pty, Wittinessith that the said ffrancis Barber for divers good causes & lawful considerations from
hereunto moving & more especially for a good & valuable sum to him in hand paid by the said Vincent Runyon
the witness of I thereby acknowledge and doth by these presents fully discharge & requitt the said Vincent
Runyon his heirs executors & administrators forever hath demysed, bargained sold & to ffarm lott on and
by these presents doth demyse bargain sell & to ffarm lott all that home lott formerly in the former home place
of Thomas Moore containing forty rods in length & sixteen rods in breadth more or less, situate & being on
the South side & joining to the home lott of George Pack & ffronting upon the highway, with said lott and property
purchased by the said ffrancis Barber of William Pyles of by the said William Pyles of the said Thomas Moore
_it tract first layed out – together with all housing & fences thereto belonging, to have and to hold the
said home lott housing & fences to him for said Vincent Runyon his heirs, executors, & administrators
& assignor for ever, and the said ffrancis Barber doth for his heirs, executors, & administrators
forever promise & grant to & unto the said Vincent Runyon his heirs executors & administrators that
for the said Vincent Runyon his heirs executors & administrators & assignees shall & may peaceably and
quietly have hold & enjoy all & singular the aforesaid premises, and that he will warrant & defend the
said Vincent Runyon, his heirs, executors, administrators & assignor hos or their tytle thereunto from
any plan or plans whatsoever that shall lay any layout or designs thereunto and that free from any
lease bargain or sale imumborann or encumbrances whatsoever in witness whereof the said
ffrancis Barber hath hereunto sett his hand & seal the day & yeare first above written
